Alex Jean Addresses Transformation Church controversy on Friday with a video that has already racked up 6k views on TikTok.
If you missed it Transformation Church based out of Tulsa, OK had a live taping of the album “Undefeated Champion” last weekend featuring Caleb Gordon, Alex Jean, Mike Teezy, Jor’Dan Armstrong, Majeste Pearson, Parris Chariz and Dante Pride among others.
The taping that was done before a live audience, started out with a solo number after which dancers came out dressed in red, and a voice laid out the scene as if a fight was about to begin, Satan vs. Christ, our undefeated champion.

A cybertruck made an appearance sometime during the taping, and Alex Jean showed off his amazing guitar skills.

While fans of CHH applauded the performance, there was been a lot of push back since then with Christian content creators speaking out against it for being worldly, not God honoring and self serving.
@iamcheriaca It’s important to know where to use your gifts and when to use them. I hope this helps someone the way it helped me. Yall give that man some grace. He needs it just like we do. #christian #miketodd #christianartist #christianity #christiansoftiktok

For every one of these however, there were users also speaking on defense of their performance.
Alex for his part, decided to address the controversy to clear the air with this video.
In the video he addresses traditional views of what the church looks like, music as a tool of worship, the Biblical perspective on music, and using the Holy Spirit to guide us in using our gifts. What do you think of the hubub fam? We’d love to hear what you think.
