The week of Juneteenth

The purpose of Juneteenth Week is to provide a 7-day series of curated, action-focused events along with social media challenges celebrating Blackness on the anniversary of our liberation from slavery. This week will touch on themes like public health and its impacts on the community, a deep dive into how our present has been shaped by our past and filling the gap by way of economic literacy. Additionally, this will be an opportunity for you to partake in a social media challenge to share your experiences each day pertaining to the theme. Each day, subject matter experts will tackle these various themes directly related to the Black experience as speakers, panelists, and activists culminating with a call to action to continue the celebration of Blackness into the future.
