I enjoy it because I think it's a book that begs attention. One of the most mountainous questions a person can stumble upon is if there is a meaning to life, as emphasized by philosophical traditions like existentialism. Ecclesiastes says no, if it is lived apart from God. I get the impression that some people think "everything is meaningless" and "all is vanity" are melancholic sentiments which make them uncomfortable, which is understandable, but I think it's two-fold. Yes, all is meaningless if it is not of God, but from these statements can we not also gather that maybe there are some things we as humans worry about that need not be worried about. The contents of these worries won't last forever and there is peace and hope in that, I think. And you can get all that from two statements in the book, while there are a multitude of other memorable words.
