i have a couple more unpopular opinions, then i'll shut up!

multisyllabic rhyme schemes are the most bewildering & amazing things in hip hop music.

i will love them till the day after i die.

especially when they exist on a track with bangin flow, gorgeous production where beats don't loop every two bars, and a real instrument (like lecrae's tuba) here and there.

oh, and a great story line is a very close second.

My own personal opinion about Music communicating Doctrine is this. There is a big difference, in my opinion, between "Praise" music, and "Christian" music, Praise music consists of well...Praising and Giving God Glory for the GOOD things he has done in your life, it's a generally "Happy" type of music (Granted their are of course exceptions, im sure) but Christian music, to me has Multiple Purposes...To present The Gospel, To Edify, in some cases, to even Teach doctrine Hymns are full of theological meat. and also, it is to show that Christianity is..difficult, at times as well. Take the Lecrae songs Take Me As I Am, and Indwelling Sin, these songs are REAL. and show more than one aspect of the Christian life.

yeah, I am still getting INTO Rap, like, im becoming a fan of a few select artists here and there, I got into it, because the Music I usually (and still do personally like) rock and metal, is no where NEAR as deep theologically, as some rappers i have heard. so I at first listened, for the Biblical lyrics...but I actually began to get into the whole sound of it,

Thanks Bro. Yeah, I fully believe God used the Chair to draw me unto himself. I fully believe i might have been in all KINDS of trouble, if i was able to walk or go outside and go out in the world of sin and indulge in all that stuff, and maybe would have never had the opportunity to attain this Glorious Salvation. Christ of course Saved my Soul, but I think this Chair is the instrument he used to do so.
