I waswhen jay-z began to state that he was the best lyricist ever to grace the industry and am even more confused that a lot of people actually believe it. There are a ton of lyricist in the industry that are more lyrical than him. He's good but not great in any sense. Em is the best(jay-z has never done in his whole career what Em did on the song "No Love" ft. Lil Wayne), Stephen the Levite and Nas are amazing, Biggie and Pac are great, Keith Murray and Bizzle are even better than jay-z smh. Like Nas pointed out in "Ether" ("compared to Beans "Beanie Sigel" you wack"), when you put him on the same song with certain people, he so weak.
im not a 116 clique fan at all......i never listen to thier music on a personal basis , i dont even buy thier music, all the thier albums including REHAB were given to me by my dj friends......but i still play thier music heavily on holla-fest radio !!

Dunkin Donuts > Krispy Kreme
i disagree (i guess that is what makes the opinion unpopular. lol). The krispy kreme doughnuts straight from the factory are way better than dunkin doughnuts. especially the glazed ones when they come right off the belt and are warm and just melt in your mouth....![]()

I think battle rapping is ok, and will engage in it whenever given the opportunity.

116 beats all sound the same...many of their cds sound like one long song instead of an album.
I loved that Dre Marshall song, "If you see me in the streets call me out" joint, but the half the lyrics didn't make no sense, lol.

I don't listen to christian artists who have lyrics that promote the idea that christians should be prosperous monetarily or that christians are healed and shouldn't be sick.
I don't listen to christian artists who support or collaborate with false doctrine preachers.
This goes for any genre...CHH, R&P, Christian Contemporary, Gospel, etc....
"Oh God, you are my God and I will ever praise you."

I believe there is a way to do it that is not sinful, not degrading your opponent (unless its joking or satirical), and still glorifying to Christ and edifies the other person. Not only do I believe it, I have displayed it. It doesn't always get you the victory, but it does minister and proves Christian hip hop is not weak or going to cower and back down.
IMO I love it when a Christian artist remakes a big secular hit and KILLS it. Heard this one this weekend...Trev Eaz of Slingshot killing "Power". It's on the free "AfrosXGunsXBlack Jackets" mixtape.
