well i was trying not to be overly critical in my opinion.

Could you say that their style has been "made" by Mike Will Made It or did they have their own style and he just brought it out to the masses?

Our culture is wayyyyy too sensitive to the-word-that-no-white-person-can-say-under-any-circumstances. Blacks lose a lot of credibility in the fight against this word by creating a double standard of we can call eachother
but whites can't even say it even to talk about racism, but rather have to call it the "N word." Grown, educated men and women are too sensitive to even hear a word mentioned in a conversation from a white person, but no problem when it's all over black culture.

The double standard here (I've heard the excuses for why it's ok for blacks to say negus but not whites and the arguments are more of an ex-post justification than a fundamental argument for why an extremely offensive word is ok for some but not others) really causes this whole sensitivity argument to lose it's logical footing. Do gays dish out gay epithets in their geighties music? Or mentally handicapped people call eachother r-tards on the street? Oh, and what a complete joke it is that you have black people playing and rooting for the "indians" and "redskins" and "braves" who think white people shouldn't be able to say offensive words since they got screwed by white people. Newsflash, native americans actually got completely screwed by white people. Blacks only temporarily screwed. Do you know any black person who has ever immigrated to Africa? Lol imagine the outrage that a football team named the "washington negus'" with a blackface on the helmet would be. Redface is fine though. It's called special pleading, and the negus debate is one of the most egregious examples that I've seen among educated people.


Should we ban every word that a minority group decides is offensive? Newsflash, you probably will run into a situation where you can't call your students/coworkers etc "boys and girls" because that excludes people who don't fit your gender binary and you should use the pantheon of newly invented gender-neutral pronouns such as ze/zer/phe/pher/ve/xe/hir/mer/zhim/jee/jeir/jem/thon etc to refer to them. Or just call them your ducklings. And when they decided to change their gender, you can't call them the old pronoun since that's insensitive to people who are transitioning. And when you complain about a man using the woman's restroom in plant fitness, you'll get kicked out for violating the "no judgement" policy. Gays are winning the intellectual battle of being the "new black" so it follows that they will also claim some words are too offensive to say since blacks did this too. So we need to be careful for what we wish for when it comes to creating "safe spaces" and "cultural sensitivity" and all of this other euphemisms for censorship in the name of hypersensitivity and treat eachother like grown ups who are capable of hearing naughty words.

Let's get unpopular. Wiggas have their own set of problems and struggles, facing prejudice from the white and the black community, the hiphop community, the hardrockers, the white racists and basically everybody. We've been around since Vanilla Ice and Marky Mark, and have developed into our own species. Ridiculed and hated, we are mostly just people who grew up in hip hop culture, but we are white. So for me, I will never say the N-word for example (only if I have to), but the W-word is ours.

Ps. Not copiers of the black people, but we are hiphoppers. Culture is contagious, that's why. Probably already addressed a bunch of times before.
