    Default The Unpopular Opinion thread.

This is a thread that is safe for making any type of opinion known without much ridicule. Go ahead, post, we won't bite (hard )

I think that Pro's - Redemption was better than Lecrae's - Rehab album.

i think the Messiah fulfilled the Law by His atoning death but didn't eradicate the commandments.

i think rappers who have no publicity have themselves to blame in this day & age.

i think artists prone to put out Native Tongues style hip hop but are intimidated by what 12-year-olds want to hear need to get over themselves & do what God gave them.

    Unpopular Opinions
    * Many saints make too big a deal of denominations when many parishioners ain't even adherents when we start talking Christian walk & Godly Lifestyles..
    * NoMalice got wack after he got saved, his movies are dope tho.
    * Swoope is wack to me and I'm a big Lupe, KanYe fan.
    * Lecrae is NOT lyrical (atleast not in a lyrical miracle way) stop comparing him to Jayz.
    * 2Pac was NOT lyrical (atleast not in a lyrical miracle way) stop comparing him to Biggie.
    * Arguing about the Trinity and the # of points in Salvation never saved anyone.
    * Aaliyah was overated and survives solely on nostalgia.
    * DaTruth makes great songs, has terrible sequencing and didn't have a sonically & lyrically cohesive album until his last one.
    * Christ came to fufill the Law not eradicate it, we err too much in our "Christian liberty."
    * Rapzilla/DaSouth rate cds entirely to high
    * Hee-Sun Lee is The only good (mainstream) Christian femcees.
    * People weren't disappointed Amba & Truth sinned they were upset their idols weren't perfect as they imagined they were.
    * The majority of CHH sucks
    * Same folks who tossed stones at Sho for leaving the Reach Records Empire bought Gravity
    * Ma$e's Welcome Back wasn't wack and would fit in with the current climate of CHH.
    * Apple products are a product of hype more than anything else.

I think that if pac would've never died, he'd be as popular as 50 cent....as in, he'd still be famous, but eventually the hype train would slow down....and he wouldn't be deified.

I think Eminem is the GOAT when it comes to lyricism.....even though eminem hasn't been eminem since like 2000.

I don't like any reach music. Well, maybe like 4 songs total from their whole discography.

NY strip is better than filet mignon.

    That's all for now.

Oh and Jordan fuzions and other jordan mish mash's are wack. 6 rings and dub zeros.

I'm sorry for being a snob.
Pick up that new Cram Session (7) featuring Sev Statik, Theory Hazit, Wonder Brown, Nomis, Antioch Alumni, myself and some new blood that you haven't heard yet. http://antiochalumni.bandcamp.com/releases

I'm a secular rapper who raps Christian.

I am getting tired of southern sounding CHH and want to hear more east coast sounding CHH.

I actually have no problem with auto tune

Im not impressed with most CHH female MC's

I feel Zee's album is one of the best produced albums I have ever heard in CHH

I like Bizzle I think hes dope

i personally believe that us LATINOS in christian hip hop...are controversial on purpose....even though we swear we are just bieng honest......i think subconciously we feel that the genre is dominated by african americans and that the latino voice is drowned out, so we speak LOUDER then most or make controversial statements just to be heard!!

whew...this thread is starting to feel good.....been years that i wanted to say that!! hahaha!

I think Lecrae is overrated. I don't even know what his own style is like because the first time I heard him ("Take Me As I Am") I thought he was trying too hard to sound like Pac.

I also did not like Lions and Liars. I may refrain from buying anymore Reach albums before listening to some cuts first.

I think Crae is somewhat overrated and not that great lyrically. (what he lacks in rhyme schemes he makes up for with passion)

I think tongues is real, the kind thats not another earthly language.

I think Ambassador is still the greatest

I think I can kill any rapper in the world off the top (except for maybe Shad)

I dont have a huge problem with Jesse Duplantis or Benny Hinn

I think churches need to do more to expose men in their Churches with sexual impurity issues and help them get free

Just a question, not a stab. What about when the disciples preached at Pentecost and the tongues of fire fell down; they began speaking and the audience heard them in their native tongue.

Or the part about if there is no interpretation then the person that has the tongue should be quiet because there will be no edification.

I believe in tongues too, I just think they are intelligible in some earthly language.

I'm sick & tire of New York rappers trying to imitate the south

I'm sick & tire of nursery rhyme rappers over synth auto-tunes beats.

I'm sick & tire of Eve's comments on this thread

I still think that if you listen to enough Secular Hip Hop u can make an agrument that most CHH sounds bitten cause cats sound like underground secular cats or they bite mainstream rappers so I enjoy the music for what it is.

Producers need work on their sampling cause I can either tell what song u sample too well or the song has been over sampled
