Pray for KRS-One

I ran into him on Saturday and gave him Lecrae's After the Music Stops. I ask that we all pray that God would draw Kris to the Cross of Christ, and if possible use that CD to sow some seeds. KRS used to be one of my favorite emcee's and it was cool to run into him and be able to give him that cd. I didn't have a chance to witness to him one on one because he was taking a quick break and getting back to a meeting.

He was sitting down outside of Starbucks having a meeting with 2 ladies. He told me he was on his way to the studio to do some work down here when he was done, and that he has a concert on the 14th.

Forget about him bashing Christians. He has a whole song bashing the God of the Bible. It talks about Adam and Eve being a lie, and Jesus not dying on the cross. Dude needs the Truth, man.

Now, I do understand one point that he makes, even in his ignorance. I personally do not wear crosses, nor do I have any in my home. I believe it to be a violation of the second commandment, which forbids graven images. Here, KRS speaks of the idolatry associated with many folks.

But, this dude needs the gospel. I pray that Lecrae's CD will help, though I'm sure he's heard the arguments before. I pray that the Lord would receive the maximum glory in this situation.

Amen. Just like everyone else in this world, KRS-One needs the Jesus Christ of the Bible to save Him from the consequences of his sins.
