I'm Eddie and I'm 18.
I live in the south east UK and
I currently worship at battle baptist church, but will be leaving there in september when I go to uni to study forensic science.

Thats the basic stuff. Lets get the important stuff done.

I got into the christian rap scene with artists like T bone and KJ 52. The UK seems to be seriously lacking in the christian music scene in my area with very few bands that play anywhere other than churches and worship events.

I started in a band called Emergency Mistake who were a christian punk/metal band. The idea being we would take music onto the streets and pubs and clubs in our town. From there we could present God to people in a way and an environment that they could ralate to as rock music is the main genre in local bands. God called an end to EM recently and so with a new line up myself and another one of the members feel called to continue with our musical ministry in a new form.

The new band is called Saving Strike. www.myspace.com/savingstrike www.bebo.com/savingstrike

We combine raps with alternative music allowing a true flow. Check out the tracks and PM me if you can help promote us. I'm mainly looking for UK christian rappers to gig with and possibly tour.

God Bless.
Eddie

What I've heard by him sounds pretty sweet. Can't really say I'm huge on the UK christian rap scene. If people can let me know like a list of dencent christian rappers over here would be awesome.

I've been brought up on metal and punk like I said. So rap is a new thing to me. When I was younger I wrote poetry so it came a bit more naturally than just jumping in at the deep end. But i feel my calling is to take the message to the streets and rap is how I'm doing it.
