    1st listen catchiness
    2nd listen content
    3rd listen comprehension
    4th listen cohesion
    5th listen constructive criticism

1 Cello from Portland - weird intro, its cool in a weird way I guess
2 Vital Lens - beat is unique, Odd does his thing, but when Braille's flow kicks in man listen!
3 Exile Dial Tone - "its not that they don't like us, its that they don't like God in us". Hook is kinda sappy to me. As I listen to Braille's verse I honestly like his less preachy iteration (does that make me reprobate?)
4 The Size of Sin - Short and sweet.
5 You Can Save Me - I've got nothing but good things to say about Braille's verse, the instrument at the end is cool it gives the track a folksy vibe.
6 Instruments of mercy - Can only described as Mormon Mass Choir meets Amish country meets coffee shop hip-hop. I need the instrumental of this asap.
7 Symbols and signs - Braille pump faked on the double time flow, got me hype. Shame on your sir! This content is good though. This is my 2nd favorite Odd verse on the album, i like what he's doing with his voice on here. Not to mention he conceptually paints a good picture. Prop did his thing, he should be the unofficial 4th member of BE.
8 Blessed are the merciful - Piper anecdotes and excerpts are always good (and apparently requisite on all theological sounding projects), nuff said.
9 Release me from this snare - ooooooh he said all seeing eye, lemme find out Braille's Illuminati!!! Question are church people the only group that says iniquity? I've never heard a nonbeliever say it. That chorus sound like "put your hands where my eyes can see" lol
10 Organized Religion - Who's the female spittin? Odd murked this. hands down, straight no chaser, raw. Ooh kill em!!!! Braille not to be outdone like "No lackin," bravo.
11 According to God - The opening sounds like a familiar lullaby, Braille channeled B. Rabbit off 8Mile on this one.
12 Raise The Bridge - So we just gon make an instrumental cut eh? Well it's better than the song where Chief Keef laughed for 3 mins straight. This is the best track on this jawn, I kid I kid.
13 The size of grace - sounds like a sermon mixed with a praise break.
    14 Acquired in Heaven - #kanyeshrug

Final verdict. I like odd thomas, I like braille. I like Beautiful Eulogy on paper. I like the eshon verse. I like the album art. I like it better than CC2, ___/5 Jesus points.

Both the sermons from their albums have been their pastor, Art Azurdia. Not Piper.

interesting video. well, not really. I find it odd that the girl in the vid makes it seem like vaping is any safer once FDA starts regulating it. It's not like FDA is always looking out for our best interest! Then she says there is no conclusive studies to say it's safe but nicotine is used in the medical field for a number of things including as electronic cigarettes and nasal sprays to treat a number of things.

So i rap, do spoken word, slam poetry etc. I've got the opportunity to battle at an event. I remember Redcloud caught flack for doing that (battling), what was the reason behind people saying he shouldnt? I cant recall the reasoning.

If you're going to verbally putting someone else down OR exalting yourself... it's a bad idea. HEAPS OF SCRIPTURE to support that. BUT if you're going to flip the switch and exalt Christ while just being generally dope.. 'sall good.

Question about being edifying and negative speech?

You guys think it's a sin to tell someone or something they suck?

There are more tactful ways of giving someone honest criticism. A better question to ask is, what's the purpose of choosing to use that language towards someone.

No. Putting someone else down to exalt yourself is sinful. If you're participating in something competitive where you have to put someone down (battle rap), then I'd question whether you should be doing it or not.

With sports, you can be competitive and be the best you can be without putting someone else down.

battling isn't just about dissing someone. i think you can show your lyrical superiority without putting someone down. cyphers are a good example.
