    Cool Married Saints: It's Time

To add me in your number.

I'm popping the BIG question tomorrow. Please, pray that all goes well.

    Question:
I want to start reading books on biblical marriage, books on being a biblical husband, etc. Any suggestion and advise?

Everything from Douglas Wilson. Read plenty on the topic. Haven't found anything that compares.

    Federal Husband

Fidelity: What It Means to Be a One Woman Man

I also really, really recommend Future Men to every walking male I know. It's about raising sons but I read prior to being married and before having kids and it was a reality check on whether I was a full grown man. Pointed out madd character flaws and areas where I needed to man up. But it was full of grace as well, so not a "beat you up" book.

Just came back a few hours ago from my friend's wedding.

Definitely a beautiful beautiful scene to see.
Not taking this out of my sig until Joshua Kennedy puts the Mr.Kennedy adlib at the start of his verses.

"What Did You Expect?" by Paul Tripp
"We sin because it offers some promise of happiness. That promise enslaves us–until we believe that God is more desirable than life itself." (Psalm 63:3).

You want me to give you the abridged of all the books you'll read.... Think "Christ and the Church!" When she trip, think "Christ and the Church"... When you feel lonely (because you still will) think "Christ and the Church"... When you tired of forgiving and forbearance think "Christ and the Church"... When the grass looks greener (and it will) think "Christ and the Church"... When you wanna say "if I knew it was gone be like this..." think "Christ and the church"... And for Christ sakes when you feel like "I'm too good for her (because you will)" think "Christ and the church!" Lastly... If she cooks for you.. Eat it and don't complain! They're a dying breed! ROFL But fareal!
