    Unhappy No friends

It took a lot of Christian people leaving me out of a lot of stuff, including their cliques, to make me realize that I actually had no friends to call my own. I have a lot of acquaintances, no doubt, but it looks like no one wants to have an intentional realtionship with me and I find so many inside jokes passing over my head and conversations leaving me out. This hurts...I do try my best to stick my head in (not rudely) during a convo, but I know these people won't care less if I was there. It's like I'm invisible or something.

Please pray for me to find a good friend or two, or as my mom says, "a Jonathan". I am content spending my time alone than with people who'd shut me out, but I still need a friend.

as others have replied, i definitely can relate and i'm praying for you. yeah, this and all times (w/friends or w/o) is one to grow more in Christ with the reading of scriptures or checking out some podcasts by some solid theologians. This may seem lame but while you're adoring Christ, God is faithful to bring some Christ-centered brothers and sisters in your mist. that's my testimony.

    one of your hcr fam,

as i read your post the scripture that says "a prophet is without honor in his own home" so just know that you're in good company. definitly praying that you will be introduced to a true friend in the faith, someone who will pray for you even if you dont ask, someone who will be there for whatever actually more than one, that God will bring people into your life that will be a blessing to you,.

ps dont forget you always got your hcr peeps

I want you to always remember something very true. It is not the quantity of friends that is important, but the quality! You have great quality and never let anybody tell you otherwise. Im kinda out there in the wide blue yonder myself ya know and people may not accept me extremely well either, but it does not really matter as long as I stay true. DO NOT give up and let negative thoughts sink into your mind. You said, "but I know these people won't care less if I was there." Continue in an unwavering faith, so that your prayer to have a good friend or two will be answered!

    Default Friends

I believe that you need to find friends that understand and want to see you grow as a christian. I think you should talk to your pastor about your situation and he should put you with a mentor or someone who you can talk too. I also suggest that you pray for everyone who is you think is dissing you. If you spend too much time alone that is when you get involed in the wrong things. (eg. Porn or drugs....) As Da Truth once said at a conference I was at Your walk with God is not supposed to be done alone. I hope this is some good advice.

I can definitely relate to you. We are in the same boat. I will continually be lifting you up in prayer. Be encouraged and God will in His timing provide us with the friends that He wants in our lives.

    Your brother in Christ,

    John
