ahhh I was saying the same thing about 2 months ago. It's a great show.

I'm also glad that though Todd Friel doesn't particularly care for hip hop that he is putting this stuff on the show. Remember when he was playing flame?

I can't wait for him to discover lamp mode stuff.

i thought (from previous posts on here) that he had played some T.Brindle b4

but he makes a good point though... LOTS of HHH is a lot more theologically adept than much of the CCM type gospel music that is flooding the market right now

yee haa.

there are so many reformed cats who discount hip-hop as a viable medium to communcate the gospel and i'm happy that todd is using this radio platform to educate folk.

maybe some of those sharper iron forum cats will listen and have a change of heart.

Here's one of the shows that he featured some HHH on:
http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast/2006/06/20/june-20-2006-hour-2/. I think it's Flame's "Context".

I'll try to find the others

wow.

listening to "crucifixion description" and "were you there" is stopping me in my tracks.

sometimes i like listening to rhythm-rich but content-poor music. however when i hear stuff like this i realize that music that doesn't glorify God and recount the most amazing thing in history ... is like writing a book about the pleasures of dove soap when you'd also experienced a life-saving rescue from a waterfall. well, not the best example. but you know what i meant.

anyway, i think tim can be found on one of these (http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast/2006/06/page/2/) segments (scroll down a bit), another hip hop reference is here (http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast/2006/07/page/2/) (about rap putting pop to shame), some other stuff (http://www.wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast/index.php?s=hip+hop), and that's all i could find.

Yeah, he played Brindle's 'Step Into The Light.' He was amazed at it - like most of us were.

yeah, that song is appropriately titled. we need to hear the description periodically so we'll know the intensity of what took place.
